Position Requirements

  • Over 6 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA working with Oracle Database versions 10g, 11g, and/or 12c.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with multiple operating systems, including Microsoft Windows and Linux.
  • Proficient in database backup using RMAN with RMAN Catalog.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Data Guard for versions 10g, 11g, and/or 12c.
  • Skilled in using OEM Grid Control, Emrep, and OMS, as well as monitoring tools such as Toad, Spotlight, or similar solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting.
  • Advanced skills in SQL and PL/SQL design, development, tuning, and debugging.
  • Experience in Oracle Security Administration.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under high demands and tight deadlines.
  • Capable of effectively prioritizing a heavy workload with minimal supervision.
  • Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative approach to working with development and infrastructure teams on database design, modifications, and enhancements for new and existing applications.
  • Experience supporting interfaces and back-end integration with applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions.
