    Belvedere Trading, a leading proprietary trading firm in Chicago, is seeking a Data Platform DBA to ensure the high availability and integrity of their SQL Server databases and contribute to their data warehouse and cloud data pipeline processes.

    Role Overview:

    The Data Platform DBA will be responsible for supporting on-premises and cloud databases, troubleshooting performance issues, and collaborating with developers to optimize data solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support on-premises and cloud databases (SQL Server, Google BigQuery, Google Cloud SQL).
    • Address database performance issues through hardware upgrades, configuration adjustments, and query optimization.
    • Collaborate with developers on query design and data modeling.
    • Maintain monitoring systems and dashboards for database infrastructure.
    • Support and troubleshoot data pipelines, ETL jobs, and replication processes.
    • Debug application code, notebooks, and batch jobs.
    • Follow DBA team standards and procedures.
    • Develop an understanding of organizational data sources and business use cases.
    • Participate in on-call rotations.
    • Perform occasional duties outside of regular business hours.

    Required Qualifications:
