Company Overview
In March 2002, Belvedere Trading made its debut as one of Chicago’s newest market makers, poised to join the ranks of the city’s leading proprietary trading firms. Armed with printed Excel workbooks and a team of ambitious minds, Belvedere secured its position in the SPX pit on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange.
From the outset, we committed to continuously enhancing our proprietary technology. We began by developing our options model, then adapted it for use on handheld devices, ultimately deciding to build our software systems entirely from scratch. Our state-of-the-art proprietary technology and advanced risk management capabilities allow Belvedere to swiftly capitalize on market inefficiencies. To remain at the forefront of the industry, we relentlessly re-engineer, optimize, and maintain our trading models and software systems.
