Role Overview
In this position, you will:
- Apply quantitative and qualitative analytical skills using advanced methodologies to enhance business process optimization.
- Support the Doctrine, Organization, Training, Leadership, Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) framework and other key operational areas.
- Identify complex challenges and opportunities within Army Sustainment Command (ASC) systems.
- Develop comprehensive solutions and integrate these capabilities into ASC’s software and workflows for improved efficiency.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should:
- Hold or be able to maintain an active Secret clearance.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be able to report on-site in Rock Island, IL (this is not a remote position).
- Have at least one year of experience working on a data science team.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree.
- Be proficient in object-oriented programming (Python, Java).
- Have experience using computational analysis tools (R, MATLAB) and data science libraries such as scikit-learn.
- Be skilled in developing machine learning, data mining, statistical network analysis, natural language processing, text analytics, and graph-based algorithms to process large datasets.
- Be capable of developing software tools for generating reports, visualizations, and data-driven insights.
- Have familiarity with defense analytics software.
