Job Overview

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to play a key role in our Safety operations. As a critical member of our team, you will leverage data-driven insights to enhance our ability to protect users while upholding their right to free expression. Your expertise will help shape and improve our safety protocols, ensuring a secure and responsible digital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of our Safety operations in maintaining a secure online environment while upholding free speech principles.
  • Create, manage, and optimize vital datasets, dashboards, and reporting systems to serve as a trusted source of insights for our team.
  • Examine and resolve production system issues, ensuring seamless and secure operations.
  • Implement and uphold industry-leading security standards and regulatory compliance measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the Central Support RN team to review patient results and ensure efficient follow-ups.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to advanced practice clinicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
  • Enhance developer productivity by streamlining infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Terragrunt, OpenTofu (Terraform), GitHub Actions, and scripting languages such as Bash, Golang, and Python.
  • Manage and maintain a cloud-based infrastructure (AWS), ensuring high availability, reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Implement and oversee zero-trust architecture, vulnerability management, and patching solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, compliance regulations, and security protocols to ensure optimal system performance and resilience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently, participate in on-call rotations, and document root cause analyses.
  • Mentor and guide fellow engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in medical office management, healthcare administration, or practice operations with proven supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, office procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Expertise in cloud environments, particularly 5+ years of Linux server management in a global, multi-server, cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services (3+ years required) and proficiency in Python, Kubernetes (5+ years required).
  • Hands-on experience in containerization (Docker) and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture, security best practices, and HIPAA compliance in healthcare environments.
  • Skilled in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Golang for infrastructure automation.
  • Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins to streamline deployment and automate workflows.
  • Ability to develop and manage vulnerability and patch management solutions to maintain system security and stability.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience troubleshooting system issues and performing root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills to support team development and knowledge sharing.
