Job Description:
- The Cybersecurity Analyst role is part of the Cybersecurity Business Engagement group within client’s Digital Risk organization.
- Reporting to the Business Cybersecurity Leader for Corporate Functions, this position will support critical next-gen program delivery teams by ensuring that implementations align with our security policies, standards, patterns, and design requirements.
- The role involves direct collaboration across multiple teams, management levels, disciplines, technologies, and business groups to ensure secure delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Provide support for key project and program delivery teams, ensuring timely and efficient assistance to project teams.
- Implementation Review: Review implementation alignment with the client security policies, standards, patterns, and requirements for specific programs/projects.
- Control Design Evidence: Review evidence of control designs being implemented to ensure they meet security requirements.
- Security Configuration Standards: Assist in developing and maintaining security configuration standards for systems and business applications related to specific programs/projects.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Program teams, other IT and Infrastructure teams, and teams within Digital Risk to provide security expertise and oversight for specific programs/projects.
- Project Participation: Participate in technical and non-technical projects requiring information security oversight to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborative Security Solutions and Improvements: Work closely with functional SMEs to recommend new security solutions and propose effective improvements to existing security controls that do not hinder business innovation within specific programs/projects.
- Security Liaison: Serve as a liaison for the security team, facilitating communication and collaboration with other departments involved in specific programs/projects.
- Efficiency: Provide timely and efficient support to project teams, ensuring implementation teams are aligned with the required security functions and project teams.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall security posture of the organization within the context of specific programs/projects.
Experience:
- B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in risk management, IT security, or relevant field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in working in IT Security, incident response, data security, data loss prevention, risk management, or IT operations.
- Proficiency with security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM solutions, and vulnerability management tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-native security tools and methods for securing SaaS solutions.
- Preferred security certification such as SANS/ GIAC, CompTIA, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM).
