You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and prioritising vulnerabilities across our systems to protect our organisation from potential threats. You will collaborate with various teams across Feeld including engineering and security to implement effective remediation strategies and maintain our security posture.

To be right for this role, you should have:

  • Knowledge of cloud security and how it relates to vulnerability management.
  • Strong understanding of application security and security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Proficiency with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CISM) are preferred but not mandatory.

What you will do:

  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scans on Feeld systems, and applications to identify security weaknesses.
  • Analyse and prioritise vulnerabilities based on risk assessments, potential impact, and exploitability.
  • Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure timely security patches and updates are implemented.
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, providing actionable insights to strengthen our security posture.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to vulnerability management processes, findings, and remediation efforts.
  • Develop and maintain vulnerability management metrics and reporting mechanisms to track progress and effectiveness.
  • Generate and present reports on vulnerability status, trends, and remediation efforts to management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of security policies, guidelines, and best practices to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in incident response activities and provide analysis in case of security breaches or incidents.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of cyber security experience, focusing on vulnerability management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
