Join Our Team as a Counter Assistant

At WHSmith, we are looking for a Counter Assistant to provide outstanding customer service in our Post Office stores. You’ll help customers with travel money, banking, bills, and other essential services. Our goal is to make every customer’s journey smoother, and as a Counter Assistant, you’ll play a key role in achieving that.

About The Role

  • Contract Type: Permanent

  • Working Hours:

    • 8 hours per week (any 2 out of 7 days, including weekends)

    • 10 hours per week (any 2 out of 7 days, including weekends)

What You’ll Do as a Counter Assistant

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience.

  • Manage queues efficiently and ensure easy access to services.

  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.

  • Work as part of a team to support colleagues and customers.
