Social Media Coordinator – Baptist Memorial Health Care (Memphis, TN)
Baptist Memorial Health Care seeks a Social Media Coordinator to join our public relations team and share our story through strategic social media content. This role will grow our social media presence by creating engaging content that resonates with our community. The Coordinator plays a vital role in our communications strategy, ensuring consistent messaging across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the PR Manager to develop social media content strategies.
- Plan and maintain yearly and monthly content calendars.
- Create on-brand content and collaborate with the PR and marketing team to support strategic goals.
- Source images and develop assets using Adobe products and social media creative tools (e.g., Canva).
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, including influencer collaborations.
- Engage with online communities across all social channels.
- Address community inquiries and escalate concerns.
- Act as producer on video shoots and provide feedback on assets.
- Maintain a strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Demonstrate expert project management and communication skills.
- Understand digital marketing across key channels (apps, email, website, social, paid media).
- Create reports to track insights, analytics, and campaign success.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, public relations, advertising, journalism, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in social media marketing with proven success in creating engaging content.
Skills:
- Preferred: Experience with Canva, video editing tools, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Minimum: Creative writing skills, knowledge of social media platforms and mobile apps, understanding of social media advertising best practices, basic analytical skills via social media reporting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
