Paying: $120K-$150K + Bonus

Work Arrangement:100% Remote – Some Travel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to support financial integrity.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with leadership on M&A integrations, ensuring smooth financial transitions for acquired businesses.
  • Work closely with operations to understand cost structures, profitability, and financial performance.
  • Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency in accounting functions.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience working with SMBs and understanding their financial and operational complexities.
  • M&A integration experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting systems.
  • Energetic, adaptable, and eager to take on challenges in a growing company.
  • Comfortable with a remote work environment and willing to travel as needed.
