Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale healthcare projects in Columbus, Ohio. This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of projects while fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing substantial healthcare construction projects for top general contractors, with expertise in project planning, budgeting, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of healthcare construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Coordinate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain high-quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Review, manage, and approve project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment on all project sites.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare construction standards, codes, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and field teams to align on project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of construction management experience, with a strong focus on large-scale healthcare projects.
- Proven experience working for a top-tier general contractor.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare facility construction requirements and regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc.).
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
