Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Computer Aided Design Technician at Holmes Mining Consultants Ltd. The role is based in Langley, BC, with the flexibility for some remote work. The Computer Aided Design Technician will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of detailed aggregate mine design drawings and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software, collaborating with engineers and other team members, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and point cloud data
• Strong communication skills in English
• Knowledge of mine engineering principles and practices related to design and drafting
• Experience in the mining or engineering industry is a plus
• Degree or diploma in Engineering Design, Drafting Technology, or related field
