Finance Manager – Driscoll’s (Watsonville, CA)
About the Role
Driscoll’s is seeking a results-driven Finance Manager to join our Driscoll’s of the Americas (DOTA) Finance Team. Reporting to the Director of Business Planning & Analysis with a dotted line to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role serves as a key financial partner for Sales & Marketing and Product Leadership Teams. The ideal candidate will provide financial insights, support decision-making, and enhance business performance through analysis, reporting, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Annual Operating Plan (Budget) for Sales & Marketing and Product Leadership teams.
- Serve as the financial liaison, ensuring alignment between financial strategies and business objectives.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports, providing variance analysis and performance insights.
- Develop and maintain key financial metrics to drive commercial business decisions.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support cost control initiatives through process improvements.
- Create ad hoc financial reports to evaluate business performance.
- Manage capital requisitions and project financials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
- Strong operational, financial, and analytical skills.
- Experience in Sales & Marketing finance (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Hyperion and Tableau is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of accounting policies and financial standards.
- Ability to travel internationally with a valid passport.
