An opportunity to be a Commercial Finance Manager for a technology business based in Droitwich. It’s a fast-paced SME with an ambitious growth plan and a dynamic finance team, that hopes to become market leaders in their field.
Main Duties:
As a Commercial Finance Manager, your main duties include:
- Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts
- Review of individual company management accounts
- Assisting in the production of monthly and annual financial reporting requirements
- Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis
- Submission of VAT returns
- Management of a small team of Management Accountants
- Involvement in improvements to internal processes and improving efficiencies within the team
Location / Office / Culture
The role is based in Droitwich, with a probation period that’s office based before going to a hybrid working model. The company operates from a modern office with a strong Finance Team.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- An ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification (QBE will also be considered)
- Experience of managing and developing finance teams
- Experience with day-to-day financial management and support
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence to build and maintain effective relationships with non-finance stakeholders
- Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills and good working knowledge of accounting software
