About the job
Our client, a faith based financial consulting firm, is looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to join their infrastructure team. They have a split infrastructure with a mix of on-premises and Azure based servers. They need someone strong with cloud-oriented networks, with an emphasis on working with Azure based Palo Alto firewalls. They have completed all of their Azure migrations and are now working on multiple projects to upgrade and refresh their current network security equipment and infrastructure. In doing so, they’re doing a large network automation push and working on containerizing their infrastructure using Docker and some Kubernetes. The ideal candidate is well versed in cloud networking, Azure DevOps, and network automation. Tech wise, utilizing Palo Alto, Python/Powershell scripting, and Azure DevOps tooling. This is a direct hire role, hybrid (3-4 days onsite) out of their Dallas, Texas office. Compensation is $110-120K plus performance based bonus potential. Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with cloud-based networking (preferably within Azure).
- Strong network automation experience utilizing Powershell, Python, and/or Bicep.
- Advanced knowledge of both on-prem and Azure based Palo Alto firewalls and equipment.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps methodologies and containerization.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment, having strong collaboration skillsets.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelors or masters in related field and/or related technical certifications.
- Strong alignment with the company’s faith based values highly preferred.
- Experience with containerization utilizing Docker and Azure Kubernetes Services.
- Experience with NextGen Palo Alto firewalls.
