Overview
Purpose Statement / Position Summary:
The Clinical Social Worker II is responsible for evaluating and providing treatment services to patients and families facing complex psychosocial challenges. This role involves independently managing cases or working under supervision as needed. The Clinical Social Worker II takes on a leadership role in coordinating services within an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with community agencies to ensure comprehensive patient care. A strong commitment to a patient- and family-centered care model is essential.
Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience:
- At least two years of experience as a social worker in a medical setting working with children, youth, and families.
Education / Licensure / Certification:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or an equivalent accrediting body.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
- Completion of the CCS paneling application process within the first 90 days of employment.
- Current CPR certification as a Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association (AHA)
