The Clinical & Operational Lead at Sirona Adult Learning Disability Health (ALDH) Service plays a key role in leading specialist learning disability healthcare across six localities. Our multidisciplinary teams provide direct care, coordinate with other services, and offer training to support individuals with learning disabilities. We are committed to delivering exceptional care to service users with both physical and mental health needs.
Clinical & Operational Lead – Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical & Operational Lead, you will support the Specialist Services Manager in strategic planning, business development, and overseeing the Behaviour & Mental Health team within the Adult Learning Disability Health Service (ALDHS). Your role includes:
- Managing and delivering learning disability behavior and mental health pathways, including psychological therapies, positive behavior support, and psychiatric services.
- Providing direct patient care through tailored interventions that promote safety, wellness, and independence at home.
- Delivering training and education for healthcare professionals to enhance service quality.
- Serving as a central point for expert clinical advice, integrating primary and secondary care services.
- Promoting self-care initiatives, patient education, and peer-led healthcare improvements.
