Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of retail clients, aiming to grow it to $3–$5M within the first year.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define strategies for targeting and expanding business with new and existing clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction across multiple engagements, fostering and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Work with clients to understand business objectives, develop project proposals, and secure Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Maintain and manage a prioritized forecast for accounts and targets.
- Provide account strategy guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Build and lead pursuit teams to address clients’ business challenges, overseeing projects from lead generation to deal closure.
- Oversee client engagements and project teams, delivering complex solutions with a target of up to 50% billable utilization.
- Manage client accounts, supervise consulting teams, and provide internal updates on account activities.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in a consulting client leadership role, with a focus on mid-market and/or enterprise retail clients.
- Strong understanding of industry-specific business challenges, systems, tools, and partners.
- Proven ability to create strategic account plans and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Experience building strong relationships with client executives and C-suite leaders.
- Skilled at navigating and managing complex pursuits, shaping and selling professional service engagements.
- Self-motivated leader with a track record of successfully guiding teams and projects.
- Thrives in a fast-growing, evolving team environment.
