Responsibilities:
- Load and secure products onto the truck at the Medline facility.
- Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline facility and various customer locations along a delivery route. Adhere to Medline’s safety protocols, including wearing required safety equipment and performing safety checks.
- Unload and deliver products at customer sites, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Provide direct customer support, addressing questions and needs, and providing necessary documentation upon delivery.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any required adjustments to the delivery route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
- Maintain a travel and cargo log according to federal and state regulations and company policy.
- Inspect the vehicle to ensure safe operation and adequate fuel levels.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and licensure to operate the assigned vehicle.
- Ability to meet all federal and state requirements for operating commercial motor vehicles.
- Clean driving record with no serious violations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
