Job Title: Child/Adolescent Mental Health Counselor
Location: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (with limited travel)
Job Type: Full-Time ( minimum 25 billable hours per week)
Hourly Rate: $45/hour with approved paid administrative tasks
Mandala Family Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This is a full-time, dynamic position focused on providing mental health services to children, teens, and families. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be instrumental in the administration and delivery of psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy for children, teens, and families, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans, utilizing the DSM-V/ICD-10 to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care
- Deliver crisis intervention as needed and manage complex mental health cases
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and community outreach efforts
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Mandala Family Wellness policies
Requirements:
- License Required: Must hold a valid license in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) or Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, teens, and families, including those with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based treatment practices.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and work with clients who have adaptive needs.
