About the Job
We are looking for a talented and motivated Chef to join us on a part-time basis at 14Forty, working 20 hours per week. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving food that leaves a lasting impression on our clients and customers. Shift Pattern
Your shifts will be variable, offering flexibility in your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality, delicious food that delights customers
- Implement and manage menu changes
- Look for ways to enhance our food services
- Act on customer feedback to continually improve the dining experience
- Contribute to new menu ideas and creative food concepts
- Represent the 14Forty brand and uphold a positive image
- Monitor inventory to ensure our kitchens are fully stocked
- Oversee kitchen cleaning duties to maintain hygiene standards
- Comply with food handling, hygiene, and health and safety regulations
Our Ideal Chef:
- Has a passion for exceptional food and customer service
- Holds a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification
- Has experience supervising a team
- Has a background in a similar chef role
- Holds a Food Hygiene certificate
- Is flexible and adaptable to changing work demands
