About the job

Marks Sattin executive search is working with an PE-Backed SaaS business that has experienced rapid growth and is now seeking a CFO to lead its next phase of expansion and deliver a successful exit. Acting as a strategic partner to the executive team, the CFO will take ownership of financial strategy, ensuring the company remains on a strong trajectory while optimising processes to support future goals. This includes refining core financial operations, implementing controls, and aligning key initiatives with the business’s broader objectives.

As CFO, you will work closely with the CEO and the senior management team by contributing to their ambitious plans for further significant growth by leading the finance function focusing on adding operational and financial value, preparing performance analysis, overseeing the financial processes, managing relationships with the PE house, and improving company systems. By focusing on profitability and operational efficiency, the CFO will play a vital role in positioning the business for long-term success.

Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
  • Proven track record as a CFO or Finance Director within a business in an International scaling business, with a strong focus on EBITDA growth, within the SaaS or Tech enabled sectors
  • Willingness to travel for board meetings in London, as well as sites Internationally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a highly skilled team facilitating technical and commercial discussions.
  • Able to work with the executive team, the PE driven board, to drive the strategic direction of the business, identifying growth opportunities
