Pride Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant – Long Term Care to support our client’s facility in Brooklyn, NY. This is a 13-week contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for Long Term Care department. As a CNA, you will provide essential daily care and assistance to residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort. This includes personal care, assistance with mobility, feeding, monitoring health status, and offering emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral care.
- Provide support for bladder and bowel monitoring, including tracking and recording results.
- Help residents with mobility and transfers using mechanical lifts, ensuring their safety.
- Observe and report on residents’ physical and emotional conditions to the nurse-in-charge.
- Assist in feeding residents and encourage hydration and proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean and non-cluttered environment in residents’ rooms and service areas.
- Support residents with range of motion exercises, turning, and repositioning.
- Monitor and document vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges, and assist with resident transport to various appointments.
- Complete necessary documentation and provide updates to nursing staff at shift change.
Qualifications:
- New York Nurse Aide Certification and inclusion in the New York State RHCF Nurse Aide Registry.
- BLS Certification required.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

Pay Range: $850-$950 Weekly
