Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Midland Park, NJ 07432
Shift: Day 5×8-Hour (08:00 – 17:30)
Duration: 13-Weeks Contract
Pay Range: $25- $31/hr
Required:
- Must have CMA certification from: AAMA, AMT, AMCA, NCCT, NHA Adult outpatient experience
Job Duties:
- Assisting physicians with patient exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Taking patient medical histories, recording vital signs (like blood pressure, pulse, temperature), and updating patient records.
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens, performing basic laboratory tests, and sending samples to labs for analysis.
- Managing patient appointments, scheduling, billing, and coding for insurance purposes.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHRs), ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
- Explaining procedures, treatments, and medications to patients, offering support and answering any questions.
