Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing cash and credit card transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and cleaning your workstation.

  • Prepare basic menu items.
  • Process sales, collect payments, and provide accurate change.
  • Engage with customers to deliver a superior guest experience.
  • Accurately enter all sales into the register to ensure proper record-keeping.
  • Perform closing duties, including cleaning, product storage, and trash removal.
  • Deliver quick, efficient, and friendly service to all guests.
  • Verify customer identification for alcohol purchases.
  • Actively promote and upsell products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with co-workers to comply with company service standards, inventory policies, and cash handling procedures.
  • Perform basic arithmetic operations involving U.S. currency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work effectively with co-workers to maintain service standards.
  • Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Ability to work in an open-air environment under various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 10-30 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, including navigating stairs/ramps.
  • Flexible availability, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Sufficient mobility to perform job duties, including frequent reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
  • Must meet state and local health requirements for food handling and alcohol service.

Additionally, all employees are expected to follow safety procedures, complete required safety training, and adhere to all company-wide safety policies and regulations.
