Salary: $60-100k Depending on experience
Summary
The Treasury Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with business customers. A key focus will be understanding the customers’ financial needs and providing customized solutions to help them achieve their goals. Additionally, this person will collaborate closely with other bank employees to uncover sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of customers’ needs by analyzing personal and business financial data gathered through relationship reviews and personal meetings.
- Acquire new business customers by prospecting in the assigned territory and working with Loan Officers and CSRs
- Profile new and existing commercial clients to ensure cross-selling of deposits, credit, and other bank products.
- Partner with other bank team members to uncover sales opportunities among both current and potential business customers.
- Identify consumer product opportunities among business owners and refer them to other specialists.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the bank’s products and services, as well as those offered by competitors.
- Develop, retain, and expand relationships.
- Maintain a high level of customer service while assisting customers in onboarding and servicing Treasury Management products.
- Educate customers on Treasury Management products and capabilities.
- Act as the day-to-day contact for Treasury Management products and services.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Treasury Management products and services such as, ACH Origination, Remote Deposit Capture, Check and ACH Positive Pay, Merchant Services, including future product additions.
- Gather documentation and ensure proper agreements are completed accurately.
- Assist Lenders and CSR’s when necessary to cross sell Treasury Management products.
- Assist with internal and external audits as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong analytical abilities
- Familiarity with diverse types of businesses, industries, and markets
- Sound understanding of financial and economic concepts
- Knowledge of bank products and services to identify appropriate sales opportunities
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or equivalent experience required
- Banking experience required
- Previous experience in a similar role within the banking industry preferred
- Experience with business deposit products preferred
