About the Job
Brand Marketing Manager – Taro Pharmaceuticals
Taro Pharmaceuticals seeks a Brand Marketing Manager to oversee current and future branded platforms. This role involves monitoring brand health and competitive activity, coordinating new SKU rollouts, collaborating with Sales on compelling selling stories, and participating in business development activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the overall strategy for Taro brands (in-store and online) to achieve long-term business goals.
- Partner with Sales to create compelling brand and category stories for distribution expansion and new item sell-in, including preparing sales materials. Collaborate with the e-commerce marketing manager on promotional strategies.
- Develop comprehensive promotional programs for brand awareness, equity, and sales success in brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce.
- Manage and monitor the promotional budget.
- Oversee strategy, execution, and measurement of owned & earned media and agencies/vendors.
- Lead initiatives related to packaging, merchandising, pricing, and communication development.
- Utilize market data (Nielsen, IRI, etc.) to identify new SKU and portfolio opportunities.
- Conduct consumer insight research to identify needs and establish programs, including deeper consumer understanding and innovation planning.
- Partner with label development, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure packaging and promotional materials are up-to-date.
- Participate in P&L management and manage monthly sales forecasting & reporting.
- Develop brand briefs and manage content development timelines for websites, digital, and social media.
- Participate in project management with cross-functional teams and execute launch plans.
- Conduct brand reviews, analyze product line performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Create and maintain a rolling 12-month communication calendar for brands, retail, and e-commerce.
- Perform other marketing management duties as required.
- Participate in trade shows as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of brand management experience in the CPG industry, with a passion for health & wellness and personal care.
- Experience working with brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and experience driving P&L and working cross-functionally.
- Knowledge and experience working with all mass trade channels (Grocery, Drug, Mass, Natural, Specialty, E-Commerce). Natural industry experience is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to translate information into actionable growth insights.
- Strong background working with syndicated data (IRI).
- Energy, passion, and a strong desire to build a transformational brand.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience developing CPG packaging, displays, and promotional materials.
- Experience marketing CPG products via e-commerce and the natural space is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $98,000 – $119,500 base salary (commensurate with experience and location).
- Annual Performance Bonus Plan.
