About the Job
Global Brand Manager – SRAM (Chicago, Indianapolis, Colorado Springs, or Vancouver)
SRAM, a leading global bicycle component manufacturer, seeks a Global Brand Manager to lead the development and execution of its brand promotion strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing global team.
- Manage product messaging and naming.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and agencies.
- Manage the brand promotional budget.
- Co-develop ambassador and athlete program strategies.
- Contribute to the Lean Product Development Process.
- Identify new marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of marketing experience.
- 3 years of team management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute global brand strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills (written, oral, and presentation).
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams.
- Budget analysis and planning skills.
- Knowledge of the global bike industry.
- Knowledge of print and digital marketing.
- E-commerce experience (highly desired).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to manage spending.
- Ability to link market research and data analysis to campaign effectiveness.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 40%).
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to ride a bike.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Location: Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Colorado Springs, CO; or Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Compensation & Benefits:
- US Locations: $95,000 + up to 45% based on skills and experience.
- Vancouver: $120,000 + 20% CAD based on skills and experience.
- Annual corporate bonus based on performance.
