How You Will Contribute

Product Innovation

  • Serve as the Category Captain and in-house expert for a key product line, staying informed on competitive trends, consumer insights, and category dynamics to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee new product launches from concept to execution, defining pricing, positioning, packaging, and product strategy for high-growth, untapped categories.
  • Identify strategic growth opportunities through market analysis, recognizing gaps for line extensions and category leadership.
  • Monitor category performance across eCommerce and brick-and-mortar retailers, optimizing shelf placement, customer reviews, and consumer engagement.

Pricing Strategy

  • Develop pricing strategies that optimize long-term market share and profitability while upholding brand value.
  • Track pricing trends, assess promotional pricing effectiveness, and evaluate competitive activity to ensure market sustainability and competitive advantage.
  • Work collaboratively with finance and sales teams to align pricing strategies with financial objectives and retailer goals.

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns, including advertising, media planning, and digital marketing while working closely with the social media team to drive engagement.
  • Collaborate with DTC teams to develop web-exclusive promotions and enhance eCommerce performance using digital tools and data insights.
  • Partner with Brand Design to ensure creative assets deliver cohesive and consistent messaging across all marketing platforms.

Sales & Distribution Support

  • Support retail strategies, in-store/online merchandising, and promotional execution in partnership with the sales team.
  • Provide sales presentations, competitive analysis, and trade marketing support to retail buyers, strengthening market positioning.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth distribution and product availability, maximizing sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Consumer Insights

  • Work alongside Consumer Insights teams to leverage market data and research, guiding decisions in product development, pricing, and promotional strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align with key stakeholders across Product Design, Brand Design, Operations, Finance, and Sales to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives.
  • Persuade and influence internal stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional partners, to support strategic business initiatives.

General Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, overseeing contract initiation, strategic planning, and accountability for results.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and promotional plans to ensure alignment with brand and financial goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of brand management and marketing experience within the CPG industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Proven track record in product launches and go-to-market execution.
  • Strong presentation skills for engaging senior management and retail partners.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
