About the Role:

The Account Manager will play a key role with a major financial services client, managing and activating marquee sports and entertainment properties. This includes day-to-day management of partnerships, assisting with sponsorship strategy, and interfacing with clients, vendors, and agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing sports partnerships, including communication and project planning.
  • Lead campaign, event, and activation planning.
  • Develop and execute property-specific programs, contractual assets, promotions, and experiences.
  • Develop integrated marketing and sponsorship activation plans.
  • Oversee creative development of marketing materials and experiential assets.
  • Assist with measurement and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Creative, Experiential, Social Impact, Insights).
  • Develop and deliver communications.
  • Create presentations.
  • Track activation budgets.
  • Identify new opportunities for the client.
  • Conduct industry research.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to travel and be on-site at events.
  • Ability to develop relationships across CAA.
  • Strong industry (sports & entertainment) relationships.
  • Solutions-oriented and resourceful.
  • Ability to manage client projects autonomously.
  • Knowledge of CAA Brand Consulting offerings.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Environment:

Flexible work schedule, three days per week on-site at our New York office.

Compensation:

$79,000 – $120,000 annually (commensurate with experience, time in role, business sector, location, and other criteria). Benefits and discretionary bonus eligible.
