About the job
Optum California is seeking a bilingual (Spanish) Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Compton, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in an underserved community.
Position Highlights:
- Make a Difference: Serve the Compton community, providing essential healthcare to those in need.
- Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a part-time schedule of three days per week, with no evenings or weekends or call.
- Focus on Quality: Embrace a “Quality vs. Quantity Model,” typically seeing around 20 patients per day.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.), or M.B.B.S.
- Board certification or board eligible in Family or Internal Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in CA or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Active BLS certification or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $249,728 to $355,092 per year.
