The Bid Coordinator supports the Corporate/Major BDM’s and Corporate Account Management teams to secure new business and retain existing business producing tender documents. You will deliver first class customer service in line with pre-defined business KPI’s to support continuous improvement in productivity and quality of service provision.

Your Core Responsibilities

  • Monitoring potential opportunities that come in to Bid and distributing these opportunities to our Sales & Account Management teams for strategic review
  • Producing submissions in response to Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Invitation to Tenders for Waste management services
  • Ensuring that submissions are of a high and consistent standard, clearly communicating our brand values and key strengths
  • To ensure that material is grammatically correct, well-researched, and without spelling mistakes
  • Carry out business development research under the guidance of the Sales team and Commercial Support Manager
  • Work with our internal departments & teams to bring new ideas and proposals to the business from time to time, to keep the bid material fresh, compelling and to take account of advances in technology and new communication techniques

What We Require.

  • Experience of writing, supporting and submitting tenders
  • Confident with all Microsoft applications including Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Proven administration experience with a customer focused attitude
