Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bakery Manager at Japan Village in Brooklyn, NY. The Bakery Manager will oversee daily bakery operations, including baking goods, managing inventory, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. As well as handle the functions of a wholesale business in a B2B capacity. The role involves leading a team of bakers, cashiers, pastry chefs, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the success of Japan Village’s bakery.
Qualifications
- Bakery and Baking skills
- Managerial/supervisory experience
- Customer Service experience
- Knowledge of Food Safety standards
- Inventory Control expertise
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service setting
- Certification in Food Hygiene or related field
