Mission Linen Supply is seeking a talented and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in Santa Barbara, CA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cloud technologies and a strong background in Microsoft Azure. This role is critical to our ongoing efforts to enhance our cloud infrastructure and support our business operations.
Work from anywhere: As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you can work from anywhere and aren’t limited to a specific town or state.
Base Salary: The Azure Cloud Engineer base salary is $80K – $100K. The starting pay is based on education, experience, other qualifications, and location of assignment.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud requirements and develop cloud strategies aligning with business goals.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal operations.
- Automate cloud operations and workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and scripts.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in cloud deployment and management.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues and incidents.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of Azure services, including but not limited to Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
- Experience with Defender for Cloud or foundational cloud security is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are a plus.
