About the job

Herzing College is looking for someone dedicated to administrative support, on-site at our Ottawa campus location. The role of Administrative Support is primarily focused in assisting the educational funding office. This may include invoicing, receipts, and assistance with funding applications.

Please note this position is on-site, part-time.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

  • Providing information, guidance and assistance to students on funding and the financial aid application process
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, procedures and standards
  • Supporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
  • Answer Incoming calls and make outbound calls

· Maintain quality controls to ensure that Herzing College policies and procedures are adhered to in relation to enrollment and registration

 

Administration:

Primary Duties:

· Ensure information is accurately and efficiently entered into the campus management system on a regular basis

· Ensure that the student funding application is complete prior to start and follow-up

· Develop and maintain effective communication channels with students to ensure customer satisfaction

 

Position Requirements and Experience

· College diploma and/or a combination of relevant experience

· Customer service experience

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Working in a fast paced environment

· Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

· Proficient computer skills specifically Microsoft Office
