CHS South is seeking a detail-oriented Admin and Finance Officer to join our dedicated team. In this key role, you will provide high-quality administrative and financial support, working closely with the School Operations Manager, headteacher, staff, pupils, and parents. If you have strong numeracy, organizational, and communication skills, this is a great opportunity to make a significant impact in a thriving educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Management

  • Maintain, prepare, and monitor financial records with accuracy.
  • Generate financial reports and provide relevant insights for decision-making.
  • Assist in budget planning and expenditure tracking.

Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative assistance to ensure smooth school operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Support HR processes, including staff attendance and payroll-related tasks.

Communication & Coordination

  • Liaise effectively with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Offer guidance and support on administrative and financial matters.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in an admin and finance officer or similar role.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Previous experience in an educational setting (preferred but not required).
