We are seeking an Accountant to become a PERMANENT, full-time member of our consulting team in Nashville, TN. (This is not a contract role.) Earn $70k-$90k plus benefits.
Examples Of Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records and reports.
- Analyze budgets and reconcile accounts.
- Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns.
- Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger .
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Oversee financial transactions as assigned.
- Prepare documents for audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of accounting information.
- Carry out relevant administrative duties (such as emails).
Qualifications
- Accounting or Finance degree. (BS/BA/MBA)
- Experience working in accounting or related fields.
- Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting practices)
- Knowledge of financial laws and risk management practices.
- Software mastery, including Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
- Aptitude for mathematics and quantitative analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, accurate, detailed.
