On behalf of our client, a leading non-profit organization, we are seeking an experienced Accountant with full cycle payroll skills to join their finance team. While experience with non-profits will be considered an asset, all applicants with a strong foundation in accounting and payroll principles are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full cycle payroll processes.
  • Execute payroll processing accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform general accounting tasks including account reconciliation, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Prepare payroll reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in internal audits and investigations related to payroll and benefits.
  • Provide accounting support to staff when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in accounting and full cycle payroll.
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes and systems.
  • Proficiency in various accounting software.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience in non-profit accounting is an asset but not a requirement.
