About the job

As an Account Director on a strategic medical affairs team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing client relationships, overseeing project execution, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical communication solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans that meet clients’ objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for US and Canadian pharmaceutical clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic medical affairs plans that align with client goals and industry standards.
  • Project Oversight: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the medical affairs space, contributing to the agency’s growth.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and industry guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of agency experience within the medical affairs space, with a proven track record of working with US and Canadian pharmaceutical clients.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Communications, Marketing). Advanced degree preferred.
