Responsibilities

  • Provide architectural guidance and assist in the deployment and configuration of the ACAS solution.
  • Support operational testing and evaluation of ACAS components, including future releases.
  • Troubleshoot ACAS-related issues and assist in sustainment and maintenance of all technical aspects of the solution.
  • Deliver Tier III support for ACAS implementation.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks on Security Center and Nessus scanner.
  • Assist in rogue system discovery management and reporting.
  • Manage Nessus Agent-scanned workstations within Nessus Manager, ensuring seamless information flow to Tenable.sc for comprehensive evaluation.
  • Serve as the Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) by comparing site scans against expected security postures.
  • Ensure ACAS scan data is published to both the Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) and Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS-N) systems.
  • Maintain expertise in ACAS policies and procedures, including best practices and compliance guidelines.
  • Stay updated on Navy-issued Cyber Directives (TASKORD, OPORD, EXORD, etc.) related to ACAS and scanning requirements.
  • Maintain all required Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) qualifications for PAA.
  • Continuously analyze customer security needs, identifying risks and recommending solutions.

Requirements

  • Active SECRET clearance (DoD) with the ability and willingness to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess at least one of the following DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II or Level III certifications:
    • Security+
    • CASP
    • CISSP
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Security, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with NIWC LANT is highly preferred.
