Job Summary:

As a Project Lead, you will support opening new retail stores, overseeing multiple fixture, equipment and signage installations each quarter. You will collaborate with store and field leadership, Construction, IT, Finance, Fixture Purchasing, Store Planning, and other partners to provide operational strategy and direction, drive end-to-end process execution, and keep documentation current. You will ensure all corporate tools, reporting, and schedules are executed as planned, issues are identified and fixed early, and processes are designed to minimize shortages and go-backs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support project timelines and budgets and monitor store fixture and signage installations for multiple stores. Ensure that all assigned stores follow the Store Planning and Design project with high standards. Resolve issues (e.g., shortage and damage, progress delays, and site conditions) promptly and within budget.
  • Support pre-opening tasks, including reviewing fixture plans and ensuring all fixtures have been ordered for their stores.
  • Schedule daily calls with each store during the fixture and signage installation. Support the creation of the new store kick-off meetings with stores, installers, and project partners.
  • Review daily progress reports and conduct video calls with fixture installers to ensure the scope is completed accurately and with high quality. Send daily and final recaps to support satisfactory project completion.
  • Supervise and monitor fixture installations by resolving issues on timing, quality, accuracy, pricing, and the shipment of fixtures.
  • Create and manage the project “punch list” and ensure items are installed in an effective and timely manner. Issue the plan to installers for scheduled installations.
  • Closely track project costs to remain within the budget and maintain up-to-date forecasts. Create change orders to approve reorders of fixtures or graphics for individual stores due to installation issues or shipment shortages.
  • Manage all aspects of the bid process by choosing vendors for bidding, qualifying each bid, analyzing the pricing, and awarding the contract.
