- Extensive working knowledge with sprinkler, steam and water distribution piping systems
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, schedule and oversee all plumbing related work.
- Perform all facets of plumbing tasks from minor (plumbing fixture repairs, drain cleaning, water distribution system monitoring) to more complex tasks such as (steam, sprinkler, waste line, venting, waterline and medical gas piping work, storm sewer pump work, water heater service).
- Has the ability to layout special plumbing, piping projects and make necessary upgrades to steam, hot water heating systems, and sprinkler systems, renews pipes, valves and fittings on pumps and other plumbing systems.
- Has the knowledge and ability to operate special plumbing/piping related equipment such as pipe cutters, reamers, threading machines, pro press equipment, sewer tapes, cables and other plumbing tools and equipment.
- Has the knowledge and ability to read, interpret and utilize plans, drawings, specifications and work orders to determine work requirements and actions needed to successfully complete plumbing tasks.
