We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to serve as the vital link between our clients and engineering teams, ensuring the seamless execution of projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Network, Wireless, VoIP, Security, and Data Centre (Storage, Backup, Replication, and DR) projects, overseeing their budget, schedule, and quality. Your expertise will help us keep projects on track, profitable, and aligned with client expectations. Strong communication, prioritization, and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, quality, and cost requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and account teams to prioritize tasks and deliverables.
- Lead and schedule regular meetings with stakeholders to resolve implementation issues, address variances, and develop action plans to manage project changes, issues, and risks.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to proactively address project risks.
- Communicate project status, budgets, and quality to internal stakeholders, contractors, and partners.
- Manage change requests and oversee project resource allocation, resolving conflicts and handling delivery escalations.
- Contribute to project proposals and review Statements of Work (SOW).
- Monitor and manage project financials, ensuring accurate invoicing and tracking.
Skills and Experience:
- At least three years of experience in managing new build projects, specifically overseeing the integration and installation of smart building technologies (either client-side or contractor-side).
- Proficient in ISO, ERP, SaaS, Six Sigma, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong plan reading and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfortable and willing to work on live construction sites.
