Our challenge
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Specialist to join our team and provide operational engineering support for our Identity Governance & Lifecycle (IGL) platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, upgrades, patching, scripting and support of the IGL runtime platform and its associated distributed infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of operating systems and databases, Java/Javascript programming, scripting, and a basic understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles and governance workflows.
Responsibilities
Configuration: Configure, upgrade, patch, and monitor the RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle platform components, ensuring it meets organizational requirements and industry best practices.
System Maintenance: Perform regular system maintenance, including OS, DB and software updates, backups, webhooks, operational scripts, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to the RSA IGL platform components and its integrations.
Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance, triage events, and generate reports to ensure the platform’s availability, reliability, and security.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and Identity Administration teams, to support infrastructure level changes to align with business needs.
Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Compliance: Ensure the RSA IGL platform runtime complies with relevant regulations, internal standards, and industry best practices.
Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests related to the IGL platform components in a timely manner.
Requirements:
You are
Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure support
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years with Java and Javascript development
Technical Skills: Deep experience maintaining Operating Systems and SQL Database, experience with scripting languages.
Experience working in complex enterprise with high standards for security and availability.
Knowledge of IAM principles, Active Directory, LDAP, and other authentication protocols.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
