Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients. This role focuses on diagnostic evaluations and tailored treatment plans to help patients achieve their highest level of functionality and independence within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide therapy for a variety of conditions, including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac, and balance disorders.
- Assist patients in improving strength, coordination, and motor skills through therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Instruct patients in adaptive techniques for daily living activities and the use of assistive devices.
- Perform home assessments and recommend environmental modifications as needed.
- Provide education to patients and families on energy conservation, safety techniques, and care strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with departmental standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license (or in the process of obtaining).
- New graduates are welcome to apply; one year of experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
