Our client, a reputable business in the property and agriculture sector, is seeking an organised and proactive person to join their team in the Essex. This role involves supporting the financial and administrative functions of the business, including managing accounts, tenant relations, and general office tasks. Ideal for candidates with strong accounting skills and an interest in property management, this position offers growth potential within a close-knit team environment.
Salary/Benefits:

Skills/Experience:
- Proficient in bookkeeping and accounting (experience required).
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with strong literacy skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Self-motivated and comfortable working within a small team.
- Ability to handle tenant relationships with professionalism and tact
- AAT or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous but not essential
- Agriculture knowledge or experience is advantageous but not essential
Role:
- Maintain and update financial accounts for agricultural and commercial property divisions.
- Process payroll, including overtime, and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Input and reconcile figures in Sage50, issue invoices, and manage cash flow and budgets.
- Manage tenant relationships, including issuing tenancy agreements and overseeing rent collection.
- Handle payments to suppliers and maintain accurate financial records.
- Liaise with external professionals, including accountants, property agents, and solicitors.
- Conduct day-to-day office tasks: manage emails, phone calls, walk-in inquiries, and file management.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and arrange for tradesmen as needed.
- Flag potential issues for senior management to ensure timely resolution.
