As a Tax Technical VAT Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses of complex VAT cases, identifying potential risks, and developing robust compliance strategies. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring businesses adhere to VAT regulations, ultimately contributing to a fair and efficient tax sy

To be successful in this role, you must possess substantial and demonstrable knowledge of VAT compliance, coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. pliance.- Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to ensure customers adhere to VAT regulations. Lead on the communication and delivery of these compliance strategies across internal and external stakeholder

groups.- Investigate multiple business and individual networks, designed to hide fraud, tackling fraudulent behaviour and/or poor co

mpliance- Provide expert guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders on VAT compliance

matters.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to VAT com

pliance.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT legislation, regulations, and industry best pr

actices.- Represent HMRC in meetings and discussions with external stakeholders, including businesses and professional

bodies.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of VAT compliance processes and pro

cedures.
