Responsibilities:
- This role is to work with the Senior Commercial Manager to oversee and deliver £80m of business
- Operate at both a strategic and tactical level through the direct ownership of delivering the commercial aspects of specific projects as well as acting as the deputy to the Senior Commercial Manager by providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of both operational and functional performance.
- Provide hands on commercial management within complex domestic and export bids and projects. Activities will include the leading of negotiations, developing pricing and business winning strategies and obtaining internal approvals.
- Develop, maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Required experience:
- Established Commercial background
- Will need established and strong commercial/contractual skills gained from a commercial career in the defence or adjacent industries.
- In depth professional knowledge of Commercial principles, techniques and practices with an understanding of how Commercial roles fit into an organisation as a whole
