THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE:
As the Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in client growth, both by enhancing relationships with existing clients and through new business development. Your responsibilities include meeting sales targets, identifying market opportunities, and working directly with clients to deliver tailored digital solutions that meet their specific needs. This will require a level of technical understanding and relationship management.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- 3-5+ years of proven sales experience, ideally in B2B digital solutions or bespoke software
- Consultative field sales approach, with a talent for presenting digital solutions
- Proactive lead generation across channels, including direct outreach, networking, phone calls and digital marketing
- Strong relationship-building abilities and planning skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems for sales tracking and reporting
