About the Opportunity:

As the Manager, Sales Associates for EMEA & APAC, you will lead a team of early-career Sales Associates in a structured training program designed to prepare them for full-time sales roles. You’ll play a key role in developing top-tier talent, guiding their transition into full-cycle sales. The program provides a clear career path within Shutterstock’s Sales organization, combining essential sales skills training with practical experience through strategic placements. Your leadership will drive their growth and performance, while also ensuring sales pipeline continuity during rep turnover. Additionally, you’ll work closely with the broader sales organization to align with regional business needs.The Day-to-Day

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Associates through structured training programs and real-world sales experience.
  • Hire, train, and coach the team, providing ongoing support to help them navigate their roles and develop core sales skills.
  • Establish performance goals and provide clear paths for Sales Associates to succeed in reaching their targets.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration between Sales Associates and regional Sales Leaders, focusing on alignment with local strategies and customer needs.
  • Create and implement coaching plans, performance metrics, and development strategies to guide Sales Associates towards placement into full-cycle sales roles.
  • Collaborate with HR and Sales Leadership on team staffing, career path development, and talent pipeline management.
  • Ensure that Sales Associates consistently deliver against key performance indicators (KPIs), such as account expansion and new business opportunities.What You’ll Bring To The Role

    • 3-5 years of sales management experience, ideally in SaaS, media, or emerging technology, with a proven track record of building and developing sales teams.
    • Experience leading and motivating early-career sales talent, with a focus on coaching and professional development.
    • A strong understanding of the sales process, including prospecting, closing, and pipeline management.
    • Ability to manage cross-regional teams with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
    • A data-driven approach to managing performance, using metrics and reports to track success and areas for improvement.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across regions.
